Background Checks

All volunteers who will be volunteering at activities with students present must complete a background check, per requirements of NM State law.  Please follow these directions to obtain NMIS volunteer clearance.

If you are a volunteer that has a cleared background check with NMIS, please log your hours using your Raptor Portal, which you will have access to after completing a background check and all paperwork required.

If you are a volunteer that does NOT have a cleared background check with NMIS, and you volunteer in school functions that do not involve students, log your hours using this link.

If you are interested in volunteering, please see below for our current volunteer needs and contact the Receptionist to get started.

Lunch Volunteer

Volunteers assist in the distribution of the catered hot lunches during student lunch periods (Just 2 hours a week!). Continuation of catered lunch services is contingent upon this committee being staffed.

This committee is comprised of:

  • A minimum of 1 volunteer is needed each day of the week
School Advisory Committee (SAC)

The School Advisory Committee (SAC) provides voice to the school community to express specific concerns.
