PLEASE RETURN THE COMPLETED FORMS TO THE WALL BEHIND THE LIBRARY DOOR, OR SEND IT WITH YOUR CHILD ON THEIR LIBRARY DAY. BE SURE YOUR CHILD’S CLAN AND NAME ARE ON THE SHEET.
EVERYONE CAN ACCESS THE NMIS LIBRARY VIA THE INTERNET. HOW?!
Click on “Researcher”.
A home page pops up and offers various different search options. For example:
You can do a Simple, Advanced or Study Program search. The Study Program search could be a very useful tool for students, as they can search by minimum/maximum reading levels, etc.
Explore what is in the library by clicking “most popular,” “what’s new,” “award winners,” and so forth.
When you pull up a list you have options to save or print list.
PARENTS ALSO CAN PLACE HOLDS ON BOOKS FOR THEIR STUDENTS. HOW?
Once you know what book you want, off to the right-side are these options:
Add to List
If you click on, let’s say, “Place Reservation,” you will be prompted to enter Username and Password. Default Username and Passwords are already set-up! Username is everyone’s Barcode ID (which can be found in library book on desk; it is the unique barcode that each student, teacher use to check out books); Password is your Last name.
