NMIS Field Day/ School Teams Water Day Tournaments
The council is excited to announce that they will be able to host the popular NMIS School Teams Water Based Tournament Field Day fundraiser again this year! This will take place on Friday, April 24 right after school, 3:30 to 5 PM. Click here to purchase a ticket for your student to attend. The ticket will cover access to the playground right after dismissal to play in the water base tournaments for their school team under parent and staff supervision. Your ticket will also give your student access to water and snacks. Our playground can safely accommodate 150 students so we are setting the registration cap to this. Once we get to 150 students registered the OSP link will close so please register early. School team captains will be leading the water-based team relay activities. Students must bring a towel, swimsuit and wear water shoes as they will get wet! Students who have their school team shirts should wear this on top of their swimming suit. If you’d like to purchase a school team shirt for this event you can purchase one here Your students can wear this shirt instead of their uniform at all team events and assembly this and next school year! The last 30 minutes of the event will be a fun water fight with water guns and water buckets for the students to play with during this time. A food truck will be in attendance for students who would like to purchase ice cream and slushies during the event. We are currently looking for parent volunteers who have a school background check and would like to help supervise students while they are playing in the playground.
